Courtney Love is at it again, still trying to get under the skin of Dave Grohl – whom she’s had nothing but a cold relationship with for quite some time now. Yesterday we heard some crazy news that she accused Grohl of trying to hit on Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of Love and the late great Kurt Cobain.
Now in another recent interview she has revealed just how bitter she is over the use of Nirvana’s hit song Smells Like Teen Spirit in the recent Muppet movie. Speaking with NY Daily News, she blamed Grohl and Jason Segel (who starred in the movie) for turning Kurt into a Muppet, saying:
“We got no money from ‘The Muppets,’ we got nothing, it made Jason Segel feel special, but Dave knows Kurt wouldn’t have wanted to be a Muppet.”
Dave Grohl has since responded to her Frances Bean accusations saying, “Unfortunately, Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant. These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue.”
This isn’t the first time she’s publicly called out Grohl, saying he’s living off the Nirvana cash cow, and storming off stage in Brazil last year when a fan held up a picture of Kurt Cobain, before demanding the crowd chant “The Foo Fighters are gay” before she would return to the stage.
