The Creases Release New Single ‘Impact’ Alongside East Coast Tour Dates

Brissy rockers The Creases have released their brand new single Impact, alongside a run of tour dates taking the boys down the East Coast this July.

Impact was written by singer/guitarist Joe Agius who spoke to triple j about the message of the song. “The song talks about the struggles to keep a balanced lifestyle and relationship with people, work and sleep when everything you do creatively requires you to be unbalanced.”

Agius also explains he penned the song while staying at his Father’s farm following an extended session of Britpop records. The impact of which is immediately clear as it features a confident verse that struts its way into a huge sing-along chorus begging to be played at a festival.

The track was recorded in Melbourne with the help of Northeast Party House’s Malcolm Besley.
