Crystal Castles Announce 2017 Australian Tour

Written by Sam Murphy on January 24, 2017

US electro-punks Crystal Castles have announced that they’re heading back to Australia this year.

The duo, now consisting of Edith Francis and Ethan Kath, will play four shows in the country this May, just after they play Coachella Music & Arts Festival over in the US.

It will be the first time Crystal Castles have toured Australia since former vocalist Alice Glass left the group in 2014, and was later replaced by Francis. It will also the first time the duo have played Aussie shows since the release of Amnesty (I), their first album featuring Francis on vocals.

While Francis wasn’t the vocalist for the group’s first three records, Crystal Castles will still be playing songs from all three albums during their upcoming Aussie shows.

Check out all of the tour dates and ticket details, below.

UPDATE 22/03/17: Crystal Castles have announced the main support slot on their 2017 Australian tour has been filled by electronic trio Crooked Colours, who are back from an 18-month hiatus and recently released their latest single, ‘Flow’.
