D.R.U.G.S Members To Form New Band Without Craig Owens

This might be bitter sweet news for fans of post-hardcore supergroup D.R.U.G.S. It has been made clear that all the members, bar vocalist Craig Owens, will be continuing to make music under a different moniker.

The news came through from lead guitarist Matt Good (Ex-From First To Last) who informed his Twitter followers that the remaining bandmates will still be making sweet, sweet music. Owens, who recently left the band he started to rejoin his previous project Chiodos, is actually the only member still in the now defunct Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows, so in other words, the band was always in his name and the others would have been permanent session players.

Owens started D.R.U.G.S following his being ejected from Chiodos, after it was allegedly decided that his solo project was a distraction from his work with Chiodos. However, he has since returned, with Chiodos confirming a handful of tour dates with their newly reformed lineup.

There is no word yet on what the new band will be called or when we will be able to hear the new material, but you can be sure Feeds will be all over it when it happens. Check out Matt Good’s tweets below.
