Fans of funky Frenchmen Phoenix got a lot more than they bargained for at their world tour ending performance at Madison Square Garden in New York last night when the band pulled up some special guest for the end of their show. That’s right Daft Punk bitches. Making their first on stage appearance in three years, the duo played Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger as well as helping fill out Phoenix’s set closer 1901.
With the performance having stirred up a whole bunch of internet chatter, the rumour mill spinning out of control like a drunken Kylie Minouge, is this maybe their way of telling us to get ready for the World Tour they promised last year after the Daft Punk in Shanghai ticketing scam.
