Darwin Festival Announces 2018 Music Lineup

The annual Darwin Festival has unveiled its 2018 program, and it comes with a swathe of musical performances across a bunch of venues in the top end.

Taking place across 18 days this August, the festival’s 113 events will include shows from the likes of ‘Marryuna’ rapper Baker Boy, synth and bass lord Donny Benét, Melbourne noise-folk crew Tiny Little Houses and singer-songwriters Tia Gostelow and Didirri — and that’s just the tip of the sand-berg.

As the Northern Territory’s largest festival of arts and culture, there’s also a bunch of other cultural events on offer, including cabaret, circus, theatre, comedy, dance and film.

“As the Northern Territory celebrates its 40th year of self-governance, now more than ever is an important time to celebrate our special tropical home,” says the festival’s Artistic Director Felix Preval.

“Darwin is a truly magical city with unique experiences, quirky characters and wondrous sights, and the 2018 Darwin Festival program is a reflection of these fascinating aspects of our city.”
