The Living End have dropped a new music video for their latest single ‘Don’t Lose It’, and it is both an orgy of Aussie superstars and an ABSOLUTE PISSER.
In the clip, the Aussie rock trio star as some truly cooked judges in a new Australian TV talent show called — you guessed it — Don’t Lose It, and we watch as they systematically crush the dreams of a slew of starry-eyed contestants, whom just-so-happen to be played by some of the biggest stars in Aussie entertainment IRL.
Jimmy Barnes cameos as a one-man Mariachi band, Grinspoon’s Phil Jamieson is a failed magician, Kasey Chambers is a dodgy hula-hoopist, Daryl Braithwaite is — uh — some kind of wannabe cowboy (because ‘Horses’, geddit?) and Murray from The Wiggles is –well — just look:
Yep. Sorry guys, go ahead and call us losers because we have bloody ~lost it~.
There’s also You Am I’s Tim Rogers, These New South Whales, Molly Meldrum, Ruby Fields, Triple M‘s Matty Johns and loads more, all as you’ve never seen them before.
And in many cases, you probably won’t be able to unsee them.
‘Don’t Lose It’ has been sliced off The Living End’s forthcoming new album Wunderbar, due out on 28th September, and you can catch them touring it live around Australia this November.
