Dave Grohl Performed In An Elevator With A Jazz Band At The Grammys, Because Of Course He Did

In the past 12 months Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has done everything from competing in a drum-off with one of the Muppets to performing shows on a rock-ready throne with a broken leg and now he can add performing in an elevator to that list of achievements.

Instead of strutting down the red carpet for this year’s Grammy Awards like a regular celebrity, Grohl joined a line parade led by the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Trombone Shorty.

It all went down during the Grammy pre-telecast when Grohl marched down the red carpet and through the Staples Centre with a marching drum strapped to him.

What’s even better is that Grohl and co ended up in an elevator, cramming several huge instruments into the small space. That’s not even the most impressive bit though. They still managed to play on while in the cramped space. Someone even managed to pull a phone out and capture the glorious moment for all of us to see.

Grohl or the Foo Fighters didn’t walk away with any of the awards on the night, but he seemed to have an excellent time anyway. During the telecast he was caught drinking from a red solo cup which confused and delighted many.
