David Bowie Drops Another Video For ‘Love Is Lost’

David Bowie has released a second video for Love Is Lost, the latest single from his surprise comeback album The Next Day, giving us a 10-minute computerised spectacular set to LCD Soundsystem mastermind James Murphy‘s Hello Steve Reich mix of the tune.

The first Love Is Lost video was made for just $12.99 but this one seems a touch more exy. It opens with black and white footage of hands clapping, before getting all geometric on our arses and eventually telling the story of human existence, in glorious David Bowie NSFW-style. Confused? Aren’t we all. The Thin White Duke himself doesn’t actually feature in the clip, other than what seems to be a close-up of his eyes.

The Next Day was re-issued this month as a three disc deluxe edition, with new unheard tracks, two remixes and four videos. Bowie himself was also voted the Best Dressed Briton of all time by voters on the BBC History Magazine website, beating out Queen Elizabeth I and Henry III for the title.
