Deadmau5 Is Coming To Australia For Sensation Festival 2017

The international phenomenon that is Sensation Festival is officially returning to Australia this year, and they’ve just unveiled one of their big-ticket headliners for the blockbuster occasion: electro party animal Deadmau5.

The progressive-house mouse has been unveiled as the first act on Sensation Fest’s 2017 lineup, which will light up Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday, 25th November.

The rodent DJ is riding high on the success of his eighth studio album W:/2016ALBUM/ and worldwide tour, and will return to our shores for the first time in three years packing what’s being spruiked as an “epic, highly anticipated set”.

And he’s just the first of many “international heavyweights” who are set to be added to Sensation’s lineup in the coming weeks.

ICYMI: the Dutch mega-festival — which has been brought to us by the organisers of Tomorrowland and Mysteryland, ID&T — will be returning down under for its first ever outdoor instalment (and first time back in Aus in seven years), with its traditional all-white dress code back in place.

The bash has previously hosted performances by the likes of Tiesto, Zedd, Armin van Buuren and Eric Prydz so expectations for the rest of the lineup will be sky-high.

Sensation’s announcement of its Aussie return comes after Ultra Music Festival announced that it will make its way to Australia in 2018 and 2019, while Chinese EDM event Storm recently announced that it will make the trip to Sydney later this year.
