Potentially one of the most talked about groups of 2012, Death Grips have announced a quick run of Aussie tour dates ahead of their slot at Big Day Out 2013.
The genre-transcending duo proved their integrity earlier in the year after they leaked their album online for free, without the approval of the record label. However, the fuss wouldn’t have been so massive had the pair not demonstrated unparalleled talent. Their fucked-up, frenzied tracks have consistently managed to prick up the ears of international tastemakers the world over.
Made up of just vocalist Stefan Burnett and drummer Zach Hill, Death Grips manages to bring with it an absolutely out-of-control live performance, with a hefty amount of running and jumping. So awesome are they in fact, that they only rarely happen.
Not to jinx anything, but the group had previously announced tour dates for this year, but the plans were eventually scrapped.
