Death Grips Unveil 11-Minute ‘Electronic Drum Solo’ Track

Death Grips have shared a new 11-minute track, lifted from the promotional video for their forthcoming 2017 North American tour with Ministry.

Just a day before the tour kicks off, Death Grips responded to calls from fans to release the track that accompanied the tour announcement.

In proper Death Grips fashion, the latest track from the experimental outfit is an electronic drum solo recorded in a single take on Roland V-Drums.

Posting the unnamed track to Facebook, Death Grips write “people have been asking about the audio from our 2k17 tour promo video so here is the original version in its entirety”.

Death Grips announced earlier this year that a follow-up to their 2016 album Bottomless Pit is in the works, sharing a 22-minute megamix called ‘Steroids (Crouching Tiger Hidden Gabber Megamix)’.

The band recently revealed that they’ve been working with an Australian artist called Lucas Abela, who’s claim to fame is playing broken glass with his face.
