Deni Blues & Roots Festival Announce Final Acts For 2014 Lineup

The second and final lineup announcement for Deni Blues & Roots Festival’s sophomore event has now been unveiled to punters, revealing yet another impressive list of international and national talent. The young festival has some serious pulling power, with some of the names in this list rivalling the first.

Elvis Costello leads the second announcement, bringing The Imposters along with him, with the legendary Boz Scaggs following closely behind. Showcasing his 15th studio release will be Steve Earle and his Dukes, and the genre transcending Michael Franti will be joined by his band Spearhead for what is sure to be a highly spiritual experience.

Peter McWhirter and Jackson Firebird are but two examples of the high standard of local talent doing the rounds and both have been included to add some Aussie flavour to the event alongside top-tier international talent such as the already announced John Mayer and Dr John.

After the success of this year’s inaugural event, Deni Blues & Roots Festival 2014 will be once again be taking place at Deniliquin in southern NSW over the Easter long weekend. Folks are still yammering on about last year’s event, and 2014 promising to deliver more of the same.
