Deni Ute Muster Reveals Dates, First Acts For 2015

The first set of artists and official event dates for the 2015 Deni Ute Muster have been officially unveiled. The 2015 event will take place on Friday, 2nd and Saturday, 3rd October next year, and will see sets from rockers Birds Of Tokyo, The Wolfe Brothers and Sunny Cowgirls.

With four studio albums under their belts, Perth’s Birds Of Tokyo will dazzle punters with their massive rock sound at Deni Ute Muster next year. There’s sure to be plenty of sing-a-longs as the band draw material from their anthemic 2013 album March Fires.

Sisters Sophie and Celeste Clabburn, aka Deni favourites The Sunny Cowgirls, will return to the Plains as festival MCs in 2015, sharing their insider tips and tricks to make sure everything’s running smoothly. The siblings will also perform on the event’s main stage, backed by material from their latest album, My Old Man.

The final act revealed for Deni Ute Muster today are The Wolfe Brothers, who formed in 2012 and have already made a name for themselves in country rock circles. A bunch of other artists are still to be announced for Deni Ute Muster’s 2015 event.

Deni Ute Muster celebrated its 16th birthday in 2014, and saw roughly 18,000 punters enjoy festivities over the October long weekend. As the name suggests, aside from musical acts, the festival attracts a huge number of ute enthusiasts, with ute races and world record attempts for ute gatherings, as well as more traditional rodeo events.

Deni Ute Muster general manager Kate Pitt says in a press release, “[the Muster] has an ambience like no other festival”, pointing to their recent Best Regional Event in Australia Award and teasing further “huge plans” for 2015.
