HAIL!, an all-star project featuring Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens, guitarist Andreas Kisser (SEPULTURA), bassist David Ellefson (F5, MEGADETH) and drummer Roy Mayorga (STONE SOUR, SOULFLY); had an interesting show of appreciation during a show in Stockholm on Sept. 12th. A fan in the heat of excitement grabbed frontman Owens leg and bit him! Owens kicked the fan, but didn’t have the man kicked out saying that he was big fan and wanted him to enjoy the rest of the show. (Source)

Slayer have announced that they will be playing a special once off show in Sydney where they will play Reign in Blood in its entirety. Reign in Blood was Slayer’s third studio album released in 1986 and included classic tracks such as Raining Blood and the notorious Angel of Death, which caused much controversy for the band. Tickets are on sale Sept 16th. (Source)

After a concert by Marilyn Manson in Winnipeg, Canada several rowdy fans were arrested after. It’s unknown how many were arrested but several fans were seen being taking away in handcuffs. A police spokesman said that policemen had suffered minor injuries after they tried to stop a group of fans from walking through traffic. (Source)

CJ Jenkins, bassist for trash metal band Faith Or Fear, has died after suffering a heart attack on stage during a performance on Sunday the 13th of September. Jenkins was rushed to South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Vineland, where he was later pronounced dead, said his sister, Karen Connors. CJ Jenkins will be missed.

Robert Trujillo in an interview with Metromix has indicated that “Big Four” tour (Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax) would not be completely out of the question. Trujillo stated that the tour isn’t set, but that there is truth to the rumour and that it’s being worked on. Now, that would be a show to buy an overseas ticket for. (Source)
