In a whirlwind first year in 2008, Bird Automatic, released their debut self-titled EP which spawned the Triple J high rotation single ‘Suburbs’ and saw the band secure high profile supports such as Sweden’s Shout Out Louds, UK’s Art Brut, Temper Trap, Dappled Cities as well as headlining their own successful shows and selling out venues such as Spectrum.
Over 2009 Bird Automatic refined their material in search of individual pop-oriented sound. The result was their follow up EP Not Morning People, a unique blend of Pop and indie-rock featuring the single ‘About The Money’.
With their much anticipated debut album planned for the end of 2010 Bird Automatic are teasing audiences with the release of their digital single ‘Neon Dagger’ on June 16th. The Track is available free to download exclusively on Musicfeeds this week here.
