Aftermath Records have announced that Dr Dre‘s follow up to 1999’s The Chronic 2001, possibly one of the most listened to albums of the past ten years will be out in February 2011.
Titled Detox, the long awaited third studio album from the legendary rapper and producer, is not only set to feature contributions from Eminem and Akon, but also La Roux’s Elly Jackson and Jay-Z.
Speaking of Jay-Z the previously leaked tracked ‘Under Pressure’ featuring the man with 99 problems won’t feature on the album, but he will be popping up in some form or another.
‘I Need A Doctor’ another leaked track off the album features Eminem and Akon. The current street single ‘Kush’ has Snoop Dogg and Akon, so we can pretty much bet that Detox, like The Chronic will have a massive list of collaborators.
