Drake Racks Up Bills, Gets Sued By Stylist

Rapper, singer, actor and all-round sensitive soul, Drake is facing litigation from a former stylist who’s cried afoul of wage discrepancies to the very specific and very large sum of $76,490.

TMZ is reporting that stylist Michael Raphael was hired by the hip hop star last year to provide services including styling, clothing and graphic design for Drake’s OVO brand, and photography, paying him at a rate of $39,583 a month.

But despite the rather handsome wage, the sum did not cover the extravagant expenses involved in the job and the stylist is now claiming that the rapper owes him for “consulting services, hotel bills, plane tickets, and endless shopping expenses.”

Raphael claims that this is in addition to unpaid wages after Drake stopped paying the stylist in December, a month in which the star spent nearly $40,000 in shopping expenses. Drake has declined to comment so far, most likely because he’s too busy practicing his backstroke in a pool of cash.
