Watch Dune Rats’ Alternate History Of The Beer Can In Epic Animated Clip For ‘6 Pack’

Dune Rats have already developed a reputation for some pretty wild music videos, and their latest animated effort for their track ‘6 Pack’ from their 2017 record The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit is another one straight out of the top drawer.

Just days out from their performance at Splendour In The Grass 2017, the Dunies have dropped this new video – re-writing the history of the quintessential Aussie icon; the beer can.

Their new clip tells the story of the role the humble tinnie played after it was birthed at the beginning of time, was drunk by monkeys and used by the Ancient Egyptians.

Following that, the Trojans used their Trojan horse to deliver beer to their friends, Ned Kelly used the can as armor and it’s been present throughout history ever since.

The Dunies are set to perform on Channel 9’s The Footy Show tonight, and following their Splendour set on Saturday they’ll embark on their biggest ever national tour, while the boys were also recently announced on the lineup for Vanfest 2017 this December.
