Eddie Vedder Joins QOTSA For Cowbell Action At Lollapalooza

What do you do when Eddie Vedder wants to join your band onstage? If you’re Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age, you get the Pearl Jam legend to bust out some cowbell and a few backing vocals, of course. The alt-rock icon joined QOTSA onstage at Lollapalooza in Chile to play Little Sister from Queens’ fourth album, Lullabies to Paralyze.

Mr Homme introduced Vedder as “a wonderful musician and a great human being”. Ain’t that sweet. Pearl Jam are also on the Chilean Lolla line-up, along with The Black Keys and The Killers. You can check out QOTSA and Eddie Vedder together below, although it’ll probably leave you wondering where Eddie’s fountain of youth is located – dude still doesn’t look a day over 30.

QOTSA have been full of flavoursome treats for their fans of late, with a world tour announcement, a veritable plethora of special guests on their upcoming sixth album and debuting a new song in Brazil last month. Whew!
