Elizabeth Rose Shares New Summer Jam ‘Shoulda Coulda Woulda ‘

Elizabeth Rose has sent our hearts a flutter once more, releasing her new single Shoulda Coulda Woulda today.

Speaking to triple j, Rose spoke about how she co-wrote and co-produced the track with Grammy winner M-Phazes as part of a record label sponsored writing retreat in Bali last July.

“That’s really where it started… I didn’t actually realise he was going to be there until I got there,” she explained.

Going on, Rose said that it was down to her own intervention that she got to work with M-Phazes, having stuck her hand up and asked to work with the Melbourne beatsmith in the retreat’s final hours.

“On the last day that everyone was allocated a studio, it wasn’t up to us who we actually wrote with so I actually asked, ‘Can I please write with [M-Phazes] because I haven’t had that chance yet at the camp’. Yeah, that’s when it happened – the last chance, the eleventh hour.”

The track is set to feature on the young artist’s forthcoming debut album, Intra, dropping Friday March 4th next year on Midnight Feature/Inertia.

Upbeat, and with a bit of a Oprah vibing inspirational motivation thrown in, have a listen to the track here below.
