The recently deceased hip hop icon Nate Dogg is set to live on. It has been announced today that the rapper’s posthumous album titled Nate Dogg: It’s a Wonderful Life is an anthology of previously unheard material featuring some of the biggest names in the game.

According to All Hip Hop, the tracklisting includes the veritable who’s who of hip hop musicians, from Dr. Dre, to Eminem to Mary J. Blige and Jay-Z, who all contributed to the album prior to Nate Dogg’s death a year and a half ago.

Nate Dogg: It’s a Wonderful Life was no easy feat and is the result of a campaign on behalf of Seven Arts Music and United Media and Music Group, who teamed together to facilitate the release.

The final release from Nate Dogg doesn’t yet have an official release date, though we now know that it will drop in the first half of 2013. Stay tuned for more details.

Nate Dogg passed away last year after complications following multiple strokes.
