Emo Party AM//PM Announces First Ever Brisbane Event With Hectic Lineup

Attn emo kids of Brisbane: Sydney’s favourite monthly sad party AM//PM is heading north of the wall for its first ever foray into the Queensland scene.

The event will be, ahem, ~taking back Sunday~ with a huge bash on Labor Day eve (Sunday, May 6th) featuring live sets from Little Brother (the sideproject of Trophy Eyes frontman John Floreani), with support from a trio of locals including acoustic pop/punk singer-songwriter Beth Lucas, punk rockers Satellites and alternative emo punk quartet Sleepwell.

To boot, there’ll be a special guest DJ set from Tonight Alive‘s Jake Hardy, plus other deckhands spinning all your emo teen self’s fave tunes from the likes of My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Paramore, Alexisonfire and more.

The emo night will be taking over Fortitude Valley’s renowned ‘home of heavy’ AKA Crowbar to pop its Sunshine State cherry next month.
