Faith No More Preview New Stage Threads Ahead Of Soundwave

Ahead of their headlining appearance at Soundwave this weekend, the reformed Faith No More have unveiled their new on-stage look, and seem to be ditching the religious attire in favour of something more clinical.

As can be seen in the images shared on Instagram by Faith No More’s Roddy Bottum, via FasterLouder, at their show in Tokyo last night the band were decked out in white scrubs, complete with medical face masks – which we assume they will remove at some point, germs be damned.

An image of the band’s Tokyo setlist shared to social media also gives an insight into their possible Soundwave set. The setlist shows that the band took the opportunity to reveal some tracks from their forthcoming studio album, Sol Invictus, in the form of new songs Motherfucker and Superhero which is due to be released on seven inch vinyl on 17th March.

Fans waiting for the classics weren’t disappointed either, the set list also features The Gentle Art of Making Enemies, Ashes to Ashes and Epic. They also revisited their classic cover of the Bee Gees’ I Started A Joke and a cover of Commodores’ Easy.

Faith No More will headline Day 2 of the upcoming Soundwave Festival which kicks off in Adelaide and Melbourne this weekend. They will play exclusively at the festival with no additional Sidewaves announced.
