Fall Out Boy Announce 2018 Australian Tour Dates

Fall Out Boy have stopped all the teasing and announced that they’re bringing their forthcoming new album Mania to Australia in 2018.

The US pop-punk kings haven’t toured down under since the very last Soundwave Festival back in 2015, but the wait is officially over because they’ve just announced four new all-ages shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth between February and March.

You can expect them to be playing songs from Mania, as well as from their huge guit-arsenal of hits, which now spans seven albums.

Fall Out Boy will be supported at all of their Aussie dates by rising Brisbane punks WAAX. Catch all the tour dates and ticket details, below.

The tunes that have been released from Mania so far suggest that Fall Out Boy might be heading in a bit of a different direction with their new music. ‘Young & Menace’ and ‘Champion’ have both hinted at EDM influences, so prepare for your moshing to come with a side of hip-shaking in the pit this time around.

“This record is most off-script we’ve gone… I want to invent something new,” says frontman Patrick Stump.

Mania will be released on 15th September, giving you plenty of time to learn the new songs before Fall Out Boy return to Australia.
