Falls Festival 2015/2016 Lineup Here Monday Morning

UPDATE 03/08/15: The first Falls Festival 2015/2016 lineup has been announced, along with the lineup for Western Australia’s Southbound 2016.

The madness and wonder that was Splendour is now well and truly behind us, and as we continue to scrape the caked mud out of our shoes (just throw them out, it’s not worth it), all we have left are the memories. Until Monday that is, when we can start planning our New Year’s Eve escapades as the first Falls Festival 2015/16 lineup is unveiled in all its glory.

The annual New Year’s Eve festival is returning to its longtime homes of Marion Bay and Lorne as well as Byron Bay in late December/early January, and if past year’s lineup are anything to go by it’s going to be one hell of a party.

Last year’s lineup saw the likes of Alt-J, The Black Lips, Cold War Kids, Glass Animals, Jamie xx, Milky Chance and many more travel to Australia for the summer festival.

This time around perhaps, if scheduling permits, Catfish And The Bottlemen will make up for their last-minute Splendour cancellation with a Falls Festival appearance. The same could go for Röyksopp and/or Robyn. Maybe, just maybe, Falls will provide the perfect opportunity for Lana Del Rey to finally make her Australian return. After all, she should have a new album to spruik by then.

At this stage, it’s all speculation and we’ll have to wait until Monday morning for the first round Falls Festival 2015/2016 lineup. Catch the festival’s 2015/2016 dates below, and stay tuned to Music Feeds as all the lineup information comes to hand.

UPDATE: Looks like an international act may have must confirmed their place on the festival’s lineup.
