The lineups for Falls Festival and Southbound had everybody salivating when they arrived, with the Lorne leg of the festival already selling out. Now we have been gifted a host of sideshows for those who can’t make it to the festivals or just want to catch their favourite acts more than once.
A large number of acts on the lineup have announced that they will be giving some love to either Melbourne or Sydney or both. Foals, Bloc Party and Disclosure have all announced that they will be tackling huge sideshows.
Django Django, Gary Clark Jr., Courtney Barnett, Halsey, SOAK, The Maccabees, Oh Wonder, BØRNS, Weird Al Yankovic and Elliphant are also ensuring that there’s plenty of live music to help us kick off the new year with a few headline shows each.

UPDATE 06/11/15: Disclosure have announced a huge sideshow at Sydney’s Opera House to go alongside their run of New Years festival appearances this summer.
UPDATE 17/11/15: Django Django have cancelled their two Falls Fest sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne and have joined Foals’ sideshows as supports instead.
UPDATE 18/11/15: Oh Wonder have upgraded their sideshow venues and dates, with their initial shows selling out in 48 hours.
