The good folks over at FBi Radio are struggling to come to terms with the fact that it was a full 9 years ago that the community station began, and what a 9 years it’s been.
Kicking things off back in 2003, FBi very accurately sums up the era on their site: “Pretty sure you had a giant emo fringe at the time.” Well played, website. But anyway, where was I… To celebrate the big 9, organisers have put together a massive list of bands, most of which are FBi favourites, to kick things off in style.
The gig will take place on Friday, 31st August and will require 3 levels of the Kings Cross Hotel, it’s so massive. Whilst the headliner of the event has been kept hush hush, listed on the bill as ‘Very Secret Headliner’ and will be released sooner to the date, the rest have been announced and we have the list below.
Tickets for the gig will be up for grabs, with both pre-sale options and tickets at the door, though non-subscribers will be paying a few bucks more.
