Under The Radar have just reported that industrial metal giants Fear Factory are confirmed to play a special one-off gig in New Zealand on Saturday, 22nd September at The Powerstation in Auckland.
When looking at Fear Factory’s listed tour dates, there is a gap between August 16 in Poughkeepsie, NY and October 27 at Nottingham, United Kingdom. Given the currently unscheduled time between listed shows and the newly announced gig in New Zealand, there seems a strong chance that Fear Factory, being in the vicinity with time to spare, could tour Australia!
If the tour were to take place, it would come behind Fear Factory’s recently released eighth studio album The Industrialist and mark the first time the band has toured Australia since acquiring new bassist Matt DeVries, formerly of Chimaira and Six Feet Under.
