Having already sold out their first Splendour sideshow in Melbourne, Swedish sisters First Aid Kit have announced a new Melbourne date at the The Hi Fi on Wednesday, 30th July. Sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg will be touring their new album Stay Gold.
The ethereal folk-country duo toured Australia back in 2012 when high demand saw their Melbourne performance moved to a larger venue, now in the country as a part of the colossal Splendour In The Grass 2014 lineup, First Aid Kit, will be enthralling audiences once again, for two very special sideshows in Melbourne and one intimate show at Sydney’s Metro Theatre.
Joining them in Sydney and Melbourne is special guest Marlon Williams with his one-man Nashville via Christchurch Americana. A twice recipient of the New Zealand Music Award and a recent transplant to Australia, he will preview songs from his forthcoming debut album ahead of its October release.
