Five Shot During Chris Brown Club Performance

Five people were shot and wounded from a shooting that broke out during a Chris Brown nightclub performance in San Jose, California on the weekend. Footage of the incident shows Brown was on stage when the shooting began.

Reports the San Jose Mercury News, gunfire was reported about 1:20 am on Sunday at the Fiesta nightclub and police at the scene found our people suffering from gunshot wounds. A fifth person later reportedly admitted themselves to the hospital.

While the conditions of the victims were not divulged, police say all of the victims are expected to survive. Brown escaped unscathed from the incident, alerting fans by tweeting “I’m 100” following the shooting. That tweet was later deleted.

Police detained multiple people after the incident, but further details about the shooting are not known. Video of the incident has since emerged on social media, showing the moment the confused scuffle began, followed by the sound of gunshots. Audience members can be seen hitting the ground for cover and later trying to evacuate the club.

Another video shows the singer appear to be amused when he notices the initial violence, before the gunshots begin. This incident is another in a series of nightclub violence involving Brown. Last year, Death Row Records co-founder Suge Knight was shot six times at a party hosted by Chris Brown in Los Angeles.
