Fleetwood Mac’s Mick Fleetwood Is Coming To Australia To Hang With Fans

Fleetwood Mac‘s founding drummer Mick Fleetwood is heading to Australia later this year, around the same time his bandmate Stevie Nicks will also be in the country.

Fleetwood will be heading down under for a series of events promoting the new book ‘Love That Burns: A Chronicle Of Fleetwood Mac’. He’ll meet, dine with and chat to fans about the band’s progression at events in Sydney on 28th and 29th November, and Melbourne on 1st and 2nd December. The events will also feature an exclusive exhibition of the new book — details here.

“I am looking forward to visiting Australia to tell the stories behind the early Fleetwood Mac,” says Fleetwood.

“This is a story that is intriguing and dramatic and yet largely unknown to many people. It is Fleetwood Mac’s 50 years this year so this is a great time to celebrate, so see you at the ‘Love That Burns’ events when I will tell all.”

Fleetwood’s bandmate Stevie Nicks will also be bringing her ’24 Karat Gold’ tour to Australia this November, so fans are no doubt hoping for a live collaboration of any kind during their time in Australia.

Fleetwood Mac are also planning a “global” tour in 2018, but no Australian dates have yet been announced.

Only 2,000 copies of ‘Love That Burns: A Chronicle Of Fleetwood Mac’ will be published worldwide, containing over 400 rare images of the band and an original manuscript from Mick Fleetwood. Each copy will also be signed by him. For more information, head here or check out the video below.
