Flume Transforms Lorde’s ‘Tennis Court’

In the spirit of ANZAC camaraderie Australian EDM golden boy Flume has dropped a remix of New Zealand pop sensation Lorde‘s hit song Tennis Court, making audiences swoon when he played the tune during his weekend Coachella set.

It’s the first instance of a quasi-collaboration between the pair, Flume having teased about working with Lorde in a tweet last August. The remix is a spacey, synth-laced electro-ballad with Lorde’s trademark vocals stretched, sampled and mixed in throughout hand claps and blissful synth explosions.

Flume premiered the track during a set at MTV’s Artist To Watch show at The Highline Ballroom in New York, earlier this month before dropping it into his Coachella set last weekend, where Lorde was also playing.

Flume is heading back to Australia following a US tour, while Lorde recently announced that she had to postpone her Australian tour until November because of a chest infection and “general ill health.
