Foo Fighters Melbourne: Light Sabers & Garden Gnomes Banned

Written by John Ritchie on December 1, 2011

The Foo Fighters 2011 Australian tour will head to Melbourne this weekend and if you are heading out to AAMI Park there are certain regulations you need to abide by. The Owners of AAMI Park emailed the conditions of entry for the Foo Fighters show which states ‘no light sabers, garden gnomes or laser pens will be permitted into the venue’.

The whole thing is a joke Dave Grohl is having with the regulations for the 2011 tour. In June thesmokinggun posted details on a 52-page ‘Tour 2011’ Foo Fighters production rider. A section of the booklet was titled Field Guide To Food Coloring Book And Activity Pages, it featured Bassist Nate Mendel explaining what constitutes a delicious breakfast and Drummer Taylor Hawkins going into detail about the difference between a good and bad salad.
