ORIGINAL STORY: Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and drummer Taylor Hawkins have announced a surprise Australian show with their covers band, Chevy Metal.

Chevy Metal’s current lineup (that’s Grohl, Hawkins, The Birds Of Satan’s Wiley Hodgen and Sebastian Bach’s Brent Woods) is set to perform an exclusive show at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory TONIGHT, while Grohl and Hawkins are in town promoting Foo Fighters’ upcoming new album Concrete And Gold.

Fans are being told to expect Chevy Metal to race through covers of songs from bands like Van Halen, Queen, Billy Joel, AC/DC, The Police and The Rolling Stones, just to name a few. Catch all the ticket details, below.

Chevy Metal did a similar thing back in 2015, when they played a one-off surprise show at the 2015 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour on the Gold Coast.

Foo Fighters, meanwhile, are yet to announce any Australian tour dates for Concrete And Gold, which is set for release on 15th September.
