Franz Ferdinand Announce Harvest 2013 Replacement Shows

Written by Tom Williams on September 26, 2013

AJ Maddah has lived up to his word, with today seeing Scottish indie rockers Franz Ferdinand confirming a headlining Australian tour as compensation to fans after Harvest 2013 was cancelled.

The band are about to begin a huge American tour, and will finally hit Australian shores this November, before heading back through Asia and Europe. Their live show is renowned for its wit and performative energy.

Franz Ferdinand recently released their fourth studio album, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, to mixed reviews. The album was recorded at frontman Alex Kapranos’ Scottish studio, Nick McCarthy’s Sausage Studios in London, Club Ralph and in a few places around Stockholm and Oslo.

We may see even more artists announce their replacement shows today, so stay tuned to our Harvest 2013 replacement tours page for all the news.

We’re assure that Harvest ticket holders will receive instructions via email from Oztix on how to access their public pre-sale tickets. Tickets will be on sale Thursday 3rd October. Check out the full tour details below, and watch the recently released music video for Evil Eye.
