Franz Ferdinand Stream New Album ‘Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action’

We always suspected that Scottish lads Franz Ferdinand were a bunch of nice guys, and they’re proving it by streaming their latest album, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Actions (below) a full three days ahead of its official Aussie release date via NPR.

Early singles Right Action and Love Illumination are good indicators of what to expect from RTRWRA: the latest effort from the quintet doesn’t seem to be breaking too much new ground, but if you’re a fan of what The Franz do you won’t be disappointed. We are, and we weren’t.

Franz Ferdinand will be heading Down Under to appear at Harvest Festival this November, where hopefully frontman Alex Kapranos will have better luck at avoiding peanut-induced allergic reactions than he did at Sziget Festival in Budapest last week.

Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Actions is released this Friday, 23rd August. It’s available for iTunes preorder, where you can also pick yourself 13 bonus live tracks, or you can preorder the physical release here.
