Fuel Just Announced Their First Australian Tour In Almost 15 Years

Written by Tom Williams on August 1, 2017

American post-grunge veterans and ‘Shimmer’ hitmakers Fuel have announced their first Australian tour in over a decade, which will see them celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album Sunburn.

The ‘Sunburn 20th Celebration Tour’ will make its world debut in Perth, Adelaide, the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne this December, bringing with it classic tracks like ‘Shimmer’, ‘Jesus Or A Gun’ and ‘Bittersweet’, as well as other songs from the band’s back catalogue.

“I’m so excited to announce that Fuel will be invading Australia once again,” says frontman Brett Scallions.

“It’s been nearly 15 years since we’ve been on your shores so it’s long past due! We are looking forward to seeing everyone in the land of Oz soon.”

Fuel released their latest album Puppet Strings in 2014. Catch all the dates and ticket details for their 2017 Australian tour, below.
