FUN. have announced two sideshows while in Australia for Future Music Festival 2013. Playing headlining shows in Melbourne and Sydney, the New York trio are sure to put on a high-energy set filled with the good vibes of their power pop rock tunes.
It’s been quite a year for FUN. behind their second album, 2012’s Some Nights, and their hit single We Are Young, featuring Janelle Monáe. FUN. were nominated for 6 Grammy awards, including Best Song, for We Are Young.
The massive single also made digital sales history by being downloaded over 300,000 times for seven consecutive weeks. During this period We Are Young remained at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks in a row.
It’s a good bet both shows will sell out fast, so if you’re keen to have some FUN. be ready when tickets go on sale Thursday, December 20.
