Written by Kiel Egging on January 21, 2013

Thinking of getting some cheap-ish tickets to Future Music Festival in March? Well, you’d better get on it real quick.

Organisers have announced that the 2nd release of tickets for the Sydney leg of the festival on Saturday, March 9 at Randwick Racecourse have now sold out at both Ticketmaster and Moshtix. While the whole event isn’t sold out just yet, ticket prices are now moving up to the ‘3rd release’ price of $164.50. Doh!

However, before you go scrambling to find an extra $20 at the back of the couch, Music Feeds is coming to your rescue. We still have a limited number of discount tickets available at the 2nd release price of $145… but only until 5pm Friday. Think about it: you can get two extra beers at the festival with that money; or a seriously overpriced burger and chips; or some merch; or whatever you like!

Click here to access the special discount tickets page and snap them up.

Future Music Festival is shaping up to be an epic day out. Along with the already-announced headliners The Stone Roses, The Prodigy, Bloc Party, PSY, The Temper Trap and Fun. – dance titan Avicii was added to the lineup last week. Those of you who saw him at Stereosonic in December will know that he puts on a killer show, so expect him to knock out yet another smashin’ set at Future in March.

And, in other Future Music Festival news today, Bloc Party announced a series of sideshows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne – click here for all the details on them.
