Glassjaw Have Cancelled Their 2018 Australian Tour

American post-hardcore outfit Glassjaw have cancelled their 2018 Australian tour, which was scheduled to begin next week.

In a statement, Glassjaw’s Australian tour promoter Scott Mesiti (of MJR Presents) says:

“Unfortunately, we have to cancel these Glassjaw tour dates next week — we’re currently waiting on more information from the band and their ability to re-schedule the tour, so we are cancelling this tour for now.

“To those Glassjaw fans who have purchased tickets — you will be refunded 100% of your ticket purchase.

“We are very sorry that this tour has had to be cancelled — we know Glassjaw fans are extremely passionate and very keen to see them. We are waiting and hoping to hear that the dates can be re-scheduled for later in the year as we’re still committed to bring Glassjaw to Australia in the near future!”

Glassjaw were scheduled to perform in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth later this month ahead of their first new album in 15 years, after last performing down under at Soundwave Festival in 2014.

Anyone who bought tickets to their cancelled 2018 Australian tour can head to the MJR Presents website for more information about the tour’s cancellation.
