English electronic music duo Goldfrapp have returned with the announcement of their sixth studio album, Tale Of Us, which is due for release 6th September after Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory spent two years putting the album together and recording in the English countryside.
Tales Of Us is said to contain some of Goldrapp’s most intimate and cinematic work yet featuring a concept whereby each track is named after a certain character and serves as a musical portrait. Seeing as the song writing pair have consistently delivered critically acclaimed albums for over a decade it is hard not to get excited for their forthcoming album.
If you are feeling too impatient to wait until September, Golfrapp have been kind enough to offer fans an album teaser that features snippets of the carefully crafted release accompanied by some stunning cinematic visuals in keeping with the moody, black and white theme of the album cover.
