Gotye, Kanye, Black Keys Winners At Grammys

This year, the 55th Grammy Awards recognises hundreds of nominees over 81 categories. That’s a lot of goddamn acceptance speeches so the majority of the awards are handed out before the televised ceremony begins.

The pre-telecast covers awards such as Best Folk Album, Best Comedy Album and Best Country Performance and has already seen some well known names win awards. The Black Keys scored Best Rock Song for Lonely Boy and Best Rock Album for El Camino.

Gotye has already won 2 Grammys so far, taking out Best Alternative Album with Making Mirrors and Best Pop Performance Duo with Kimbra for Somebody That I Used To Know.

Meanwhile while Best Rap Performance went to Jay-Z and Kanye West won for Niggas in Paris and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross took out the Grammy for Best Score Soundtrack.

The boys from Mumford & Sons, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros and Old Crow Medicine Show have taken the gong for Best Long-Form Music Video for their clip for Big Easy Express.

We’re covering the Grammys all day on our update list. Check it out and keep up to speed!
