Green Stone Garden Face A Zombie Apocalypse In ‘The Island’ Clip

Hailing from top-end capital Darwin, indie crooners Green Stone Garden have released their debut video clip, and have made no small deal about it. The Island not only features a gripping storyline, unreal scenery and not too shabby acting, it also features a damn good song.

The narrative of the clip follows frontman Mike Meston who, upon waking up to find his lover is done, realises that he might be the only human left alive. As we all know from movies, that is never a good sign and, as you’ll soon discover, things get weird and quick for Meston. Those familiar with Geoff Murphy’s 1985 film The Quiet Earth might be familiar with this particular take on the movie standard.

Laying claim to the local music scene of Darwin through regular gigging, and supporting national and internationally touring artists, Green Stone Garden are ready to spread their goodness through out the rest of Australia. Now with their debut EP North available, the band have announced a run of live shows through out July.
