Groovin The Moo 2013 Lineup Announcement And Event Dates Revealed

It feels like yesterday that we were wrapping up on another successful year of the highly popular regional festival, Groovin The Moo. Organisers are back in planning mode, revealing the dates for their 2013 event. Next year’s event will return to the same locations: Maitland Showground on 27th April, Canberra Uni on 28th April, Prince of Wales Showground on 4th May, Murray Sports Complex on 5th May, and then finishing off in Bunbury’s Hay Park on 11th May.

Update: Groovin The Moo 2013 lineup has leaked

GTM is an event well known as having a certain country vibe to it, and it always seems to pull in some of the most current buzz acts from around Australia. It’s no surprise that tickets are almost always guaranteed to sell out, and usually in record time. The lineup will be announced on Wednesday, 30th January, while tickets will be on sale shortly after from Tuesday, 5th February and Wednesday, 6th February 2013 for $99.90 + bf.

While we wait for that, GTM is inviting all local artists, graphic designers, students, professionals and amateurs to submit work for the annual cotton and ink muster – GTM TEE. In 2013 GTM is asking participants to respond to the theme ‘Homegrown’ for a single sided T-shirt graphic.

Whether you graze in the grass or pound the pavement, GTM wants you to share the informal, local, homespun, warm, old-school, daggy, and wonderful world of your homeland – it could take in sustainability, agriculture, sport, nostalgia, local history or celebrities. Entries for GTM TEE open on 28th January 2013. For more information visit the competitions page at http://www.gtm.net.au.
