UPDATE 17/08/16: Guns N’ Roses have officially announced their 2016 Australian stadium tour.

UPDATE 15/08/16 9.50pm: A video advertisement promoting a February 2017 Guns N’ Roses Australian tour has now leaked.

ORIGINAL STORY: With fans frothing at the prospect of an Australian tour from the reunited Guns N’ Roses, the group’s plans for an Aussie tour have been spotted on a billboard in Melbourne, advertising a show in February 2017 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

The billboard (below) has been photographed in the Melbourne CBD, pointing to a show on 14th February as part of Guns N’ Roses’ Not In This Lifetime reunion tour:

Music Feeds understands that an Australian tour was to be announced today but has been rescheduled, with Triple M and Guns N’ Roses fan sites claiming that the tour will now be announced on Wednesday, 17th August.

A new Australian jaunt from Guns N’ Roses is long-awaited. Earlier this month, the band expanded their reunion tour into 2017, but didn’t announce any Australian shows.

Guns N’ Roses are touring the US throughout August, October and November. The last time the group toured Australia with key members Slash, Duff McKagan and Axl Rose was over two decades ago.
