Haim Stream New Single ‘The Wire’

Whether you caught them at Splendour on the weekend or you simply just can’t get enough of them, Los Angeles-based sister act Haim have got your back, dropping their brand-new single The Wire from their upcoming debut full-length album.

The Wire kicks off with an Eagles-esque drumbeat and has all the pop sensibilities of a Christine McVie-penned Fleetwood Mac track. In short, the trio wear their ’70s pop influence all over their sleeves while still managing to have a fun, modern sound. Haim have a whole lot of hype for a band yet to release an album but with each single they drop, they manage to prove their worth.

If you missed it, be sure to watch our interview with Haim when they dropped by the Music Feeds Studio. There’s no official release date for their debut record just yet but the sisters have confirmed that work was finished on it just last week, stopping by Sydney’s 301 Studios to put the finishing touches on the record.

The Wire is released as a single on 23rd September.
