Only Half Of The Killers Will Tour The New Record ‘Wonderful Wonderful’

The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers has revealed that only half the band will tour their fifth album Wonderful Wonderful.

Bassist Mark Stoermer announced that he would no longer be touring with the band anymore last year but now Flowers has revealed that guitarist Dave Keuning will also no longer tour.

Flowers revealed the news to Q Magazine (via The Killers News), saying that while the members will no longer tour with the band they are still in the band.

Both Stoermer and Keuning recorded Wonderful Wonderful and will continue to record with the band, they just won’t be touring anymore with Flowers and Ronnie Vanucci Jr.

Ted Sablay and Jake Blanton, who have both been session musicians for The Killers, are expected to tour with the band now.

It’s yet to be confirmed whether or not Stoermer and Keuning will travel to Australia to play a one-off show at the AFL Grand Final next month as it’s not technically a full tour. Given this news, however, it seems unlikely.

Wonderful Wonderful will be released 22nd September. The title track of the record dropped last week and you can hear it below.
