Hear Peking Duk Actually Sing On Their New Icona Pop Collab ‘Let You Down’

Peking Duk are back with a brand new earworm dubbed ‘Let You Down’, a collab with Swedish electro-pop duo Icona Pop.

Like all their other singles, it’s catchy AF, but unlike all their other singles, it actually features the vocals of one of the Duks themselves, Adam Hyde.

The lads have dubbed the track a “modern heartbreak” anthem and reckon it was inspired by the movie Candy, with the story being told from “Heath Ledger’s perspective”.

“We honestly just felt like the happy melodies would be far more interesting with a sad story through the lyrics,” The Duk explain.

“Weirdly, the story in Candy is far more relatable than it seems on first glance. Many people are actually in scenarios or relationships where they know they are bringing the other person down. This is the hard part; trying to tell them to leave so you don’t let them down.”

It’s arrival comes after the fellas scored a bunch of nominations in this year’s ARIA Awards.
