Rock-rap supergroup Prophets Of Rage have dropped a new original track called The Party’s Over, and it’s packing some huge Tom Morello-sized riffs, rap verses and a whole lotta’ antiestablishment attitude.
Premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show on Apple Music, The Party’s Over (below) is powered by the relentless swagger of the group’s former Rage Against The Machine members Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk, while Cypress Hill’s B-Real and Public Enemy’s Chuck D and DJ Lord add some staunch verses and extra keyboard work.
The Party’s Over sits on Prophets Of Rage’s debut EP of the same name, which is released today, and comes after the band were joined on stage by Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl earlier this week.
Prophets Of Rage have teased an upcoming world tour, and though no Australian dates have been announced yet, Bluesfest promoter Peter Noble seems keen to get the band on the bill for his 2017 event.
